A Summer of Biltmore Weddings
Asheville Wedding Photo Booth at Biltmore
We’ve had the pleasure to be a part of several weddings on the Biltmore Estate and they are always glamorous and epic affairs. The Biltmore has so many venues it’s hard to choose when you’re planning a wedding, but this summer we were thrilled to be a part of two beautiful weddings on the estate. Both of these weddings booked our photo booth for their Biltmore Estate wedding. Stacy & Greg were married on the front-lawn of the Biltmore Estate and had a gorgeous reception on the Sunset Terrace. Devon & Sean had a gorgeous wedding at Deer Park with dancing in the courtyard to live music. Both weddings were equally memorable and both couples, not local to Asheville, chose Massive Booth for their reception photo booth fun. We were excited to work with Asheville Event Co. again on Stacy & Greg’s wedding. They are such a great team! And we had the pleasure of working with Firefly Event Co for the very first time, which was amazing! Both teams make our jobs so much easier and are great to work with!
Asheville Photo Booth at Biltmore Estate
Devon & Sean’s wedding at Deer Park on Biltmore Estate included our Whale wedding photo booth package with a Gold Frill Backdrop and lots of our oversize word props. Their photo booth was setup in the main reception area of the restaurant and close to the dancefloor so that guests could pop between both centers of action. The Gold Frill backdrop for the photo booth really popped with the bridesmaid dresses and the overall color palette for Devon’s wedding.

Photo Booth on the Sunset Terrace at Asheville’s Biltmore Estate
Stacy & Greg had a swoon-worthy wedding at the Biltmore Estate. With a ceremony on the front lawn and a reception on the Sunset Terrace, this wedding was nothing less than epic. The photo booth was position inside the wedding reception tent on the Sunset Terrace so we were able to see the amazing views of the mountains as the sunset rolled through. The weather was absolutely perfect and the Asheville Event Co. and Biltmore Weddings team did an amazing job. Stacy chose our sequin silver backdrop for the photo booth and we featured some new laser cut words as well as some custom wedding hashtag props for their photo booth. With over 800 photos taken throughout the night, it’s safe to say this wedding photo booth was a huge hit!

Caroline & Graham’s Bohemian Asheville Wedding
Last fall we had the pleasure of being part of Caroline & Graham’s wedding at The Fields of Blackberry Cove. It was such a lovely wedding and it’s now featured on Borrowed & Blue! Check out their featured wedding and get some inspiration. Caroline’s great taste shines through in all of the details and aesthetic of her wedding, right down to the photo booth! We used the lush forest green backdrop from Drop It Modern and a collection of fun rose gold and copper sequin mustaches and props. Here are a few photos from their wedding photo booth…
Best of Borrowed & Blue 2016 – Our Photo Booth Wins in Asheville
We are so excited to be among the list of winning vendors in Borrowed & Blue’s 2016 Vendor Awards. We had such a blast in 2015 working with all of our Asheville area brides to provide a stylish and modern photo booth for their beautiful weddings. We are looking forward to what 2016 wedding season has to offer and are thankful to be working with so many other winning vendors this year, like our friends at Asheville Event Co. and the ultra-talented Jill Schwarzkopf of Realities Photography. Crest Center, Claxton Farm, and Weddings at Biltmore Estate were also featured winners and we’re super-psyched to be booked for several weddings at each of these venues this year!
Make you sure to check out all of the 2016 winners on the B&B site here .

Wedding Season Photobooth Fun in Asheville and Western North Carolina
Wow! This wedding season seemed to fly by! I can’t believe it’s already mid-November and we’re beginning to book holiday parties. Fall is officially coming to a close as the rain washes away the remaining color from the trees here in the Blue Ridge. It’s sad to say goodbye to one of the best seasons here in Western North Carolina. Asheville has some of the prettiest views in the fall, but winter brings its own special vibes to savor as well. With that said, we had a successful wedding season in Asheville and beyond. Here’s a look back at some of the best moments captured by our photo booth on “the best day ever” for our couples.
Photo Booth Fun for an Asheville Wedding at The Venue
We worked with Asheville Event Co. on this gorgeous, classy wedding at The Venue in the heart of Downtown Asheville. For Amanda & Kyle we setup one of our newest photobooth backdrops, the Champagne Sequin, which is perfectly glam for any wedding. Their guests had a blast during cocktail hour and the reception jumping in the photobooth with large groups, our custom oversized words, and some new sparkly mustache and glasses props we made. This is definitely one of our favorite Asheville venues because it’s so convenient, we were even able to fuel up with some hot chocolate from French Broad Chocolate Lounge (the best!!) before the event began, which is such a luxury!

Photo Booth at Sawyer Family Farmstead
Not one, but two weddings this season at the lovely Sawyer Family Farmstead venue in Glenville, NC. If you are thinking about venues, this is one to check out. It’s absolutely stunning property and you get the sense that the Sawyer family pours their heart and soul into every detail for the events hosted here. We had a great setup right off the dancefloor and the photo booth was a huge hit, busy all night at these weddings.

Old Edwards Inn Wedding Photo Booth in Highlands, NC
If you haven’t been to Old Edwards Inn & Spa, it’s a gorgeous venue with a setting that feels completely posh and tranquil. We feel so lucky to work with Amber & Julian on the photo botoh for their beautiful wedding. This couple was so lovely and gracious to work with and Amber had a vision for her photo booth that included aviation themed props. We worked with her to design and create a collection of pilot props that were a huge hit and really looked amazing on camera. Julian’s extended family came all the way from Australia for this wedding, so we were so thrilled to be part of such a special day and it was amazing to see how much fun 30+ Aussies had squeezing into our photo booth at the wedding reception!

Becky & Nick’s Wedding Photo Booth at Brahma Ridge
It’s always a blast to work with truly wonderful people. Becky & Nick had an unforgettable wedding at Brahma Ridge and we were so thrilled to be a part of their special day. The photo booth, setup in a tent just off their main event tent, was busy ALL. NIGHT. LONG. Kids loved it. Adults loved it. We truly felt like it was one of the highlights of their special day and this day was truly special. In addition, they were such a wonderful, nice couple to work with. We setup our burlap backdrop, which is one-of-a-kind, handmade here in Asheville!

Caroline & Graham’s Rustic Photo Booth in a Barn
We met Caroline at the East West Pop Up Shop last year and we were really excited to work together on the photo booth for her wedding at The Fields of Blackberry Cove in Weaverville, NC. It was such a lovely wedding at a picturesque venue with the perfect does of rustic charm. The photo booth was actually setup in a barn, in a former horse stall! You would never know it though because everything was glamorous and chic. The photos came out beautifully and Caroline’s bridesmaids dresses looked stunning against the forest green backdrop she chose. Caroline has impeccable taste and you can also find her jewelry at Caro Designs on Etsy!

Photo Booth Fun at Summer Weddings
Summer weddings always feel like a magical escape. It’s the season where everyone tries to slow down and take a little timeout to enjoy sunshine, being outdoors as much as possible, and soaking up togetherness. We have been a part of a few beautiful weddings over the past two months and the rest of our summer is jam packed with even more magic. It is exciting and inspiring! We’ve been busy in the studio crafting up new props for the photo booth and having fun finding some really stylish hats and sunglasses. Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to and shots from some of our most recent photo booth gigs at weddings and parties.
Photo Booth for a Summer Wedding at Claxton Farm Outside Asheville
Liza and Chris booked us for their epic wedding at Claxton Farm. They looks so cute with these laser cut Mr & Mrs props we made! We setup our gold fringe backdrop and brought mustache, beard, and chat bubble prop collections. We also had a set of different laser cut words, like “Congrats”, “Love” and “Flawless” that guests had fun posing with in the photo booth.
Highlands Wedding Photo Booth in Western North Carolina
Brittany and Sean were wed at a lovely inn nestled away in Highlands, NC. We setup the photo booth for their wedding inside this historic inn, with a gold sequin backdrop. We laser cut a few more “wedding” themed words for this wedding and included plenty of hats and sunglasses for guests to dress up with. Of course, chalkboard chat bubbles are always a big hit!
Latest Photo Booth Snaps
Here are a few of our favorite shots from recent gigs. It’s always a blast to see how creative and/or crazy people get when they’re in front of the camera. These are just the highlights from recent weddings, parties, and public events that we’ve been part of.
Custom Prop Designs
We recently worked with FTE Leaders to design some custom props for the photo booth at their Regional Discernment Retreat in Black Mountain, NC. You can check out some highlights from the event and see some examples of the types of props we can create using Adobe Illustrator to design in vector format and then laser cutting the designs on wood. It was fun to see how the photo booth and props came together to tell a story of this event…

Asheville Spring Wedding Photo Booth
Spring Photo Booth Love!
We had a lot of fun putting together photo booth props for this lovely Spring wedding at the Capital Club in downtown Asheville. The Neals had their reception on a beautiful April evening in the heart of downtown. The Capital Club is a great location because there is a great view from the room and from their outdoor deck. This is the second wedding we’ve been involved with at this particular venue and it’s been a lot of fun each time. For this wedding we laser cut some custom words in an elegant script typeface and paired them with lots of white vintage chalkboard frames, vintage hats, and other fun props! The results were really sweet!

Valentine Photo Booth Props
We had fun in the studio today goofing off and enjoying a low-key Valentine’s Day with a few heart-shaped props. First order of the day was to swing by Vortex Dougnuts for a couple of the heart doughnuts they were churning through. Ok, so we might have ordered a few more doughnuts to eat too!

Then we busted out these giant red heart balloons we’d been saving from Shop Sweet Lulu, originally spotted on the Studio DIY blog. They are huge! I am serious, they span 36″, so it was a tight squeeze to have two in the shot with us. Luckily the photo booth has a 10′ wide backdrop so it worked! We are looking forward to use these heart balloons again soon at a wedding or event. Hope everyone is having a lovely Valentine’s Day.
